Victrola VV-XVI D, L-Door Cabinet with Drawer & Shelf
Free victrola cabinet with horn, drawer and shelf. Lots of scratches, It is a VV-XVI D. Lots of scratches (not a GoJo restorable cabinet, but solid and a very good candidate for a refinish. I need it gone before winter.

To be clear, I am offering it as a free cabinet because I don’t want to part it out. It is restorable and solid, but I have 2 L-Door Victrolas already and I am not into refinishing. If I part it out I will sell the parts at reasonable prices, but I would prefer to give it away and see it restored. If it doesn’t get a home in the next couple weeks, I will reluctantly part it out.cweastlick wrote:I sent you a p.m.

Putting my fascination with that back door knob aside, I truly hope somebody takes you up on your generous offer. This is a worthy project!!Django wrote:To be clear, I am offering it as a free cabinet because I don’t want to part it out. Still available. If there is no interest by next weekend, I will part it out along with the tonearm and motorboard.

I hated to do it, but I have stripped the cabinet for parts and I will post them here next week. The doors, tonearm with bracket, casters, horn, back door, motorboard with speed control and tab brake, hinges, shelf, drawer, lid support and most of a motor will be available. Prices will be reasonable and negotiable.

I am truly sorry i missed out on this one, i could have done wonders with it. Here is a 16 I saved from the dump, someone started to strip it years ago then someone took a hammer to the sides, brought back from the brink. And another pic of an L door like yours i restored years ago.Inigo wrote:Where is Johnseff....? He could do wonders with it!
