Any idea what type of machine this is?

Post by tdonovan829 »

Any idea what type of machine this is - appears to be a generic version. In great condition, crank works, missing the needle and has one record with it. Considering selling it but curious if it has any value. It does not have any markings that indicate a brand label or metal label was ever on it.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Tracey

The stamped-metal horns were imported from Europe by Columbia.

What would be its value?

That looks like a Columbia 25H of 1915. Is there a Columbia decal on it somewhere? More pictures would help determine value. Cheers, Russie

It looks like some sort of variation of the Columbia BN. The Grafonola 25H was the end of that series but I think it would have the Grafonola type tone arm.

Maybe comparison of the patents on the label with a Columbia label will give the clue...
