***FOR SALE***Victor Victrola VV-XII parts, VTLA
I am reluctantly parting out a Victrola XII, (early style). The cabinet is beyond help, but the motor, motor board, brake, crank, speed control a and tone arm are in great condition. I want to sell the motor first, because if it doesn’t sell I will hold onto everything until I can find a decent cabinet, (if anyone has a decent cabinet for sale, I would be interested). The XII motor is unique to these machines and this one runs very well. I would sell it with or without the brake, speed control, crank, turntable, and motor board. The price for the motor alone is $350.00. With the brake, (you are not likely to find a nicer one), motor board, turn table, speed control, and crank is $600.00 plus actual shipping. The tone arm and bracket are $150 plus actual shipping, (I think that the tone arm and bracket are the same as the early VTLA).

Just in case someone was looking for these parts, they are no longer available. I decided to attempt to salvage the cabinet and it turned out pretty well. Unfortunately, I could not revise the title.

Wow! It's hard to believe that you thought the cabinet was beyond repair! Great job!

Nice job indeed, Interesting about XII's, If I remember correctly on the door hinges, one model used 2 screws per hinge, while the other had three---hard to believe for such a small hinge, but I guess they had to try something to keep the doors from being pulled off and the other thing is a different variation in the horns.

Thanks Dave. I should have taken some before pictures. I’m satisfied with the way that it turned out.Dave D wrote:Wow! It's hard to believe that you thought the cabinet was beyond repair! Great job!
