Thanks for posting! I actually found yours in an older post on the forum when I was searching for data. The database is being updated steadily. The highest serial number is now up to 4675.

Thanks so much for all that data. I was unaware of that School Phonograph. Can you tell me whether it's a 10-panel or 11-panel horn, and if you have the original stand?

Thanks again.

Thanks to Terry Baer, the list has now been increased by 10% -- about 330 numbers recorded to date.

Please post in this thread with information on Operas you own or have seen:

- Serial number - 3286
- Wood (mahogany or oak) - oak
- Owner (information will be kept private) me
- Notes (any details worth recording - ESPECIALLY if it is marked 'Concert.")

My Opera had been restored sloppily by an amateur in the past, so it needed a refinish of cabinet and motor board. It came out beautifully!

Thanks for the info. It's interesting that oak and mahogany seem to be pretty randomly mixed, except for a seeming block from 3188 to 3301. At least for the moment, there are only oak entries. But that could change as more gaps are filled. One thing that is clear: mahogany tops oak by very close to 2 to 1.
