I am attaching a photograph of the Motor board that I now have which is correct for my machine. Since it is a series D, it has the tab brake instead of the bullet break. My speed control is okay but the tab brake is missing most of its plating. My motorboard hold down screws are in great shape. The only other metal part I can think of That I might replace is the gold Motorboard lift Knob that is also in poor shape. Thanks again!

Did see that photo but thought it was just an example of what you would need. Will look for that type brake and if I find one with good plating will include that as well. Will look for a nice knob as well. Think I have a spare for the back door which might be the same.

I can't thank you enough, And Those parts would be really great to make my machine really shine Since the original finish is in such excellent shape . Once I get all of the parts and put new felt on the turntable, I will snap some photos of the complete machine. Now if anybody has A good letter H album , That is the only thing left That I would need to make the machine 100% original.

Pretty certain I have a nice motor board lift knob. The "H" record box is a 10 inch one correct? Looked like you had all the 12 inch ones. Will check to see what I have. Just may have an "H" in nice shape.

Here is a photo of the brake and lift knob. As stated before will include with the price of the crank. Am tempted to include the motor board as well. Very nice condition and it gives you an option if you would like. Now for the really good news. I do have a H record box in very nice condition. Am going to need 45.00 for the box. Looks like it would be a good match for the rest of your set. Shipping is going to change. The large flat rate box is not as big as what is needed. Going to need to use a 16 x 16 x 10 box for shipping. Will nail down a firm quote from the post office when I hear back from you.

Those are awesome additional finds, Kevin! I would love to have the motor lift knob and the brake lever that you have. If you wanted to send the motor board also that would be great! Yours looks to be in better condition than the one I have, and yours even has the felt needed to cushion it when it is installed. Let me know if I will owe you additional shipping. As for the H record box that you have; my machine has all albums. I assume that the correct thing I need would be a 10in album; as another poster on this forum stated that some machines had boxes well the others had all albums like mine. If you run across an album with the letter H on it I would be very interested. However, for right now I think I will pass on your record box to see if I can find an album instead. I really appreciate all of your help and advice as well it's the advice I've gotten from so many other Forum members. Because of the help I know that I will receive all of the correct parts that fit together for my machine versus having to randomly purchase them from eBay or an unknown seller of which the parts may not have fit. I love this forum!

*** For anyone who continues to follow this post, as I stated; I still need a good 10 in letter H album to complete my machine. If anyone else has that item please let me know.***

I keep thinking record box not album. Was offering the H box out of an incomplete set. Will probably be glad I hung onto it. Adding the lift knob and brake to the medium flat rate box does not change anything. Stepping up to a box that provides the room with padding for the motor board will probably double the shipping. Looks like mine is in a little bit better shape but the turn table will cover most of it so not sure if it’s worth it. Ship off the brake, knob and crank handle and wait to see how everything looks with your motor board setup?

I think that I will take the motor board, too. I forgot that mine does have a chip around one of the mounting holes that I built up with wood glue. I just sent you another $15.50 through PayPal friends to cover the additional shipping. Once I get all of my parts together, I will offer the other motor board and the parts that I replace on my victrola to any member that wants them for a very cheap price. I know how hard it is to find the albums for The L-door machines, and I appreciate you offering me the record box. If I don't eventually find an album I'll get back in touch to see if you would still want to sell your box. Let me know if you need anything else from me. Otherwise I will be looking forward to getting my additional box of goodies.
