I just heard that Ron Sitko passed away this morning. Can anyone verify?

I sure hope it's not true.

Yes it is unfortunately true. I called Carolyn and talked to her sister and she said Ron went to bed last night and passed away in his sleep.

That is terrible News. Ron was a genuinely nice person. He will be missed. Very sad.

I took a photo of Ron and his wife at the Union Show in 2016. We keep memory books of our activities and travels. He will be missed! Don

Lerria and I just heard the news about Ron Sitko today. As others have said, WE ARE IN SHOCK!

I have know Ron for 30 years and saw him at Union every year, got parts from him every year,
and always enjoyed visiting with him and learning from him every time we talked.

I can not think of a nicer guy in this whole phonograph hobby. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to
his family.

We loved you Ron and are devastated with this news.

Sincerely, David and Lerria Rosamond

Here is a link to Ron’s obituary. Ron was certainly a giant in our hobby to whom we all owe a huge debt of gratitude. There is a place on the obituary link to share memories and condolences with the family. It may be helpful to the family if people were to share some of the memories and condolences posted here with them on this link.
