SOLD: Columbia Q Early Style Caseless Nickel Base $265

Post by Crank_it_up »

I am offering an excellent example of an early Columbia Q with the nickel base. Look at the high res pictures and see that this is a really well kept machine. Note that it doesn't include a reproducer or horn and the winding key is not correct for the early Q's. It should be a flat plain style not the filigree type. If you don't want the key I will credit $20. It runs smooth and quiet and easily plays through a record. A look at the gears will tell you it doesn't have a lot of hours put on it. I tested it with a larger diameter floating reproducer and it plays very well. The belt is not true and straight but functions. I will try to make a new belt before shipping. It is missing one rubber foot and screw. Send a PM for more details or a commitment to buy. I prefer an old fashioned check or money order but will entertain using an alternate. Thanks for looking, Joe
