Interesting, but for 10K Euros I think I'll wait for our own member's Wilson Home to come to fruition. I applaud the Diaz effort, but I'll be honest that bit about "after 10 are built all jigs, plans, equipment, etc. will be destroyed" doesn't sit especially well with me.

Scarcity for the sake of scarcity is a terrible way to drive up prices.

Pedro is absolutely a master of his craft.

As for the price, he is to be commended for his painstaking effort to work this out and deserves every pence. I'm very well aware of Gillett's design and it would be no small amount of effort to bring his electric phonograph to fruition. I can only image the hundreds of hours Pedro has committed to this project.

Can I afford such a work of art? No. If I could, would I purchase one? Yes, in a second.
