Hello Forum Members.
I am fixing a columbia Q for a customer, which was passed down from his great grandfather. I need for few things to complete the machine:
- One govenor weight and 3 new springs.
- Lid -- I would like to find one in good shape with a nice decal
- Horn (original or reproduction is fine)
- New diaphragm, gasket, beeswax, and sapphire with its holder. (basically i just have the reproducer body)
Thanks for looking!
David

I believe that most if not all of these parts are available from Brian Parlier at The Phonograph Shop.

Hey Grant,
I have been speaking with Brian but since he's not back to his shop yet I thought I would ask here.

Re: Wanted: Columbia Q parts
I have looked through his website and am not seeing some of the parts I need on his site.
I still need a horn and govenor weight for the Q. I am not sure if the brass columbia weight he has listed will work on this machine. Does anyone have these parts? I would like a repro horn.

Re: Wanted: Columbia Q parts
It would be best to replace all three governor weights unless the new single one is the exact weight of the other ones. Usually that isn't the case.
