WANTED: Parts to restore oak Herzog disc cabinet

Post by JohnM »

I recently acquired this oak Herzog disc cabinet that needs a little love to be perfect again. Does anyone have a trashed cabinet from whom I might purchase the decorative appliqué at the top of the doors, the lock (oval mortise), and strip that runs down the doors? Also need a pull and needle cup bracket. Short of that, does anyone have the ability to make a silicone mold of the appliqué?

Looks as if you're also missing the pieces of the feet that would form a "lion's paw" type foot?

John, maybe you can buy a replica keyhole surround from Eduardo in Peru.
You can make the strip that runs down the door.

James.

Would just like to have as much original stuff as possible. Eduardo is a good idea, but he’s out of the cabinet business. I’ll ask him anyway. Thanks, James!
