The 157 is a nice machine, I saw one when I was in Melbourne last and it has a nice sound and is fairly compact.

That's a pity it's not a 163 but at $190 it's a bargain anyway!
In the UK these machines are still about £3-350 so that's probably about $450-500.
Knowing that a Credenza in the States is not much more, I would definitely not go for the HMV 157 as the Credenza is a better machine BUT at $190 it's a steal so long as the 5a is okay and the grille / cloth are all intact and not damaged or replaced.
