WANTED: 1950's Rock N Roll Records (78rpm)

Hi, am on a 50's Rock N Roll kick and looking for the following 78 rpm records:

1. Chuck Berry/Johnny B Good
2. Everly Brothers/Wake Up Little Susie
3. Ritchie Valens/La Bamba
4. Buddy Holly/Oh Boy
5. Coasters/Yakety Yak
6. Bobby Day/Rockin Robin
7. Drifters/Little Darlin
8. Chords/Sh Boom
9. Champs/Tequila

And any other top 50's hits that you may have!

Everlys and Chords should be fairly easy to find. I'm assuming you meant the Diamonds for #7 Little Darlin', in which case that is also pretty common.

Valens had no US releases on 78 until the Rhino reissue box. La Bamba was issued overseas and is rare and expensive.

You'll find it easier to get Canadian or UK versions of many of these as 78s were issued there longer. South Africa also issued 78s pretty late, but these are more exensive.

A pretty beat up copy of Johnny B Good just sold on eBay for a good bit.

Crazy price for that record. Is it that rare??

Late 50s on 78- rare
Didn't sell terribly well at the time- rarer still
Desirable, very popular.
All of these factors make for an expensive record.

I have a copy of Sh Boom, also Earth Angel. I also have "I have a little girl" by Howlin Wolf and a copy of Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash but with a chip that removes the first 4 notes of guitar. Any other titles you're specifically interested in?
