Would anyone happen to have a black gear cover for an Amberola V?
Also, it's my understanding that the front grill was changed from wood to metal at some point. Mine has a metal grill but it's painted a non-matching color. Does anyone know based on serial number which grill my phonograph is meant to have? The serial number is 5731.
Thanks!

A black gear cover? Maybe you could include a picture. Normally the V had a brown bedplate and gear cover. I don't have an extra one, at the moment, but I was curious about yours. I bought one once from Mark--Croakinfrog.

Re: WANTED: Amberola V gear cover
Apologies Mike, I never got an email notification that someone responded.
The bedplate is actually black. I happened to find another Amberola V motor in a homemade case with the gear cover, also black. Now to find the time to get it all cleaned and running...
