Frank,
That's absolutely beautiful! Man, I'd love to find the boxes to go along with my machine. I think it's very cool that your speed adjustor says "76" on it!
Jerry,
I haven't had much time to play with it yet, I did pull the board for a minute to look underneath, the motor & springs are very clean. I saw where the arm makes contact with the regulator, I may mess with it this weekend. I'd like to have someone go over it for me, as well as rebuild the reproducer.

Gray, Here is a 16 that I was just offered. Badly beached case but,the binders are there and "FULL". They are moving ans asked me to make them an offer.I just don't think it's worth buying just for the binders.....IMHO.

Wayne, That machine looks to be in really nice shape other than the light color of the finish. Not too tough to re-do and darken up. Since It's already been re-finished once, I wouldn't feel bad about doing it over again....

Re: My New VV-XVI!
gramophone 78,
One of the things that pushed me into buying my VV-XVI was the fact that it had all its folders and records, that and the original bill of sale.
( I paid more for it than for most automobiles I've owned ! )
It was like getting a complete time-capsule from 1910-11.
Aside from the finish issue, yours looks like a nice machine...
The folders look mint !
MHO....

Re: My New VV-XVI!
Hi Steve, well it is still in it's original finish, hence the crazing.Just not my thing. I think if they got 300.00 for it....grab it and run. That is just my opinion. I have a feeling they are thinking 500.00. Therefore, you would have to re-finish it, etc......
