WANTED: WW1 era American pride music

Post by vinmarsh44 »

I just acquired an “Uncle Sam kicking the Kaiser” phono toy and would love to have a WW1 era American pride record to use the dancing toy on.

I have “Bing Bang Bing ‘em on the Rhine” on cylinder and would like to have something similar on 78, diamond disc or Pathé format…

Thank you!

I think Caruso's "Over There" would be a good one.
I had two good reasons for wanting this-
1. I'm an American;
2. I am also a Hohenstaufen and watching a usurper Hohenzollern get his arse kicked warms my cold, dead heart.

But, my wife had two good reasons for me to NOT want it:
1. Rolling pin
2. Frying pan.

So congrats! Looking forward to the video!

Great song! I just listened to it on YouTube. You don’t have an extra copy to sell do you? Thanks for the suggestion.

No but I will PM you a link to a couple copies. It would be cool if you could get Sam to kick in time to the music. :)
