Record Album's
I have a complete set of record album's and a friend think's they are for a Modernola phonograph. I don't have the machine so I don't know. Any help yes or no or what machine they go to. Thank You Jerry

Re: Record Album's
They look more like file boxes for office documents/cabinets... 78 records are stored on edge, not flat.

Re: Record Album's
It's curious, but the first 1923-esque publicity of Spanish Columbia Graphophone SAE co. about their Regal records promoted storing the records flat in bunches of 25 records.

Re: Record Album's
These are indeed for 78 records. Not for a specific brand that I know of. I have a couple sets that came with machines when I purchased them. Note the round pulls are small little records.

I have seen these in phonographs, don't remember which brand. I think they are pretty nice.

READY FILE - Storage for 78rpm records.
They fit perfectly in a VV-X, VV-XI, or VV-100. Would probably fit many others and "off brands"

More than I knew, also... I've never seen them.

I very good resource for antique phonograph accessories is The Talking Machine World. Archived on the Internet Archive and also here:

Everything you didn’t know or cared to know about accessories, can be found in these back issues.
It’s fun reading especially if you have a occasional bout of insomnia!
