Triumph D2 time capsule

Post by mjbarnes »

Usually I don't use "time capsule" except for things that are remarkably well preserved. This machine is not. But it has been in one family since new -- I have all the names and even the location (Lake of the Woods, Ontario). I just bought yesterday from the great-grandson of the original purchasers. Lots of wear and tear but I am thankful for the long post by martinola over on the Antique Phono website which will guide at least some part of the restoration.

Nice machine! very restorable-- and the steel-top "O" reproducer is a huge plus! Having the history of the machine with names and location is great!
