That's nice! I have one as well, but the version Steve mentioned with the oil bath motor and double stay. I installed a HMV 5 soundbox, the same as the US orthophonic. It sounds better than the 5a/b.

Indeed, that's the one and only area where HMV dropped the ball with regard to the re-entrant models; the "5" was so much better than it's replacement.
