Has anyone here repainted a General Phonograph Co., "Baby Cabinet" model? I bought one today at an antique show, for $20. How could I say "no"? (I wish I knew...)
It's beyond saving any original finish. I have decals on order from Gregg Cline. Looking for tips on repainting the cabinet. Color? Paint type? Primer?
This isn't a picture of mine, but an example image I found on the web.

Automotive paint, you can use the inside of the lid to match the original colour.
You will need a dedicated space and a full face respirator.
