Fabulous French baritone Renaud sings Vision fugitive from Hérodiade (Massenet); from Victor 92003 (mtx. 5802p; Paris, 1906)

Transferred at 76.0 rpm with a 2.7 mil conical stylus.

By the way, Renaud must have either been dissatisfied with this recording (I would wonder why) or particular liked it, as he re-recorded it (twice), 2 years later (I have one of those as well, on a '20s reissue in the HMV Historical Series). This was the only one issued on Victor, however.

Also just noticed the error on the label! "Thomas" is listed as the composer rather than Massenet. Oops.
