Ya that is what I figured. Worth a shot to find out. Anyone else use auctionzip.com to look for auctions? What is nice about it you can set it to search within a distance from you and it looks up all key words for you.

It looks to be a made in India repro. Not worth having unless you just want it for decoration. Generally they are very poor quality.

Indian Crapophone. There must be millions of them. My wife bought one at a flea market for $20. Even the reproducer was a fake.

I think I understand the coding behind the model no, "Al-12-02" "AL" short for a load of crap, and "12-02" denotes manufacture in February of this year.gramophoneshane wrote:It's an "Al-1202"
