WTB Edison Diamond disc machine

Post by ImperialGuardsman »

Hey everyone!

I would very much like to own a diamond disc phonograph but ebay has not had many options (they exist, but are in other states and don't ship). Because of space I would lean towards a table top model, but I would not pass up a good deal on a floor model.

I live on the Oregon coast but am going to school in Portland.

I have some funds now and am saving up. I will be far more loose with my money after tax season. Send me a private message if you are thinking about selling a machine and live nearby.
Thanks.

There's a great bunch of collectors in the Pacific Northwest. The Oregon Territory Antique Phonograph Society, OTAPS, is having a meeting on 10/6 in Southern Oregon. I'd suggest patience because a good quality Diamond Disk should be available quite close to you. Jerry Blais (Albany, Oregon)

I check Craigslist everyday because you never know when something will pop up. I search victrola, phonograph, and edison. I'm pretty new to collecting so if I have a question about what I am looking at I post the ad and people here have been great about giving me direction.
