This last Nauction (78rpm.com) I won this example of a Mandel record to go with my Mandel phonograph. I have never seen one before and just had to have it. I have shared this image with Ted Staunton (tedstaunton.com) and hope he will include it sometime.

An interesting machine. I gather from the pics on the link it is set up to play either laterals or verticals. Congrats on finding the matching record.

Surprisingly, my wife likes it, even though I rarely use it to play records. Years back I suggested selling it and she insists that if that happens it must be replaced by something nicer and cheap. She's very smart, I'm still looking.
