Congrats! What way did you come up? It's quite a trek! Glad the Edison has gone to a good home. I'll be interested to hear if you see any indication that it originally came from the R.S.Williams Co...which were the big Edison jobbers in Ontario. I think Layton Brothers had the same position in Quebec.

It really was a beautiful drive up! The worst part was Highway 401 which basically added 3 hours to my trip just for the sake of driving around Lake Ontario to get to the destination. (near Oshawa)

I crossed the 1000 Island bridge / border crossing. It's really an amazing sight. (not my picture, but that accurately represents the scene and even goes on in both directions.)

The 401 is like something from a Stephen King novel: it's an utter horror at any time of the day or night. I was on in briefly on Friday to get to Brampton..which is about 20 miles away. I swear I could have bicycled in the same amount of time.
