Quite different lyrics from the only version I am aware of, the one of Hoagy Carmichael with Bix Beiderbecke on Victor. The recording quality is good, it is the first Edison needle I heard. And I may be buying the wrong lots of records, because I never found any Edison needle yet, they don't show up that easy here in Luxembourg.

As far as I know. Not too many were made, and they were only manufactured in 1929. Plus the phonograph devision shut down by years end. Due to sluggish sales.

You're ABOSOLUTELY right! If Edison had introduced the Needle Cuts 4 years earlier the Company might have been saved.I have 3 of them.one is "Sorrows"by the Edisongsters on my P-1 portable. In a perfect world the Edison Neeedle Cut records would be common and black label Deccas and red label Columbias would be rare. HEE HEE!edisonplayer
