This is not an alert. This listing went on at 7:30 last night and I responded 3 hours later and several times throughout the day. My cousin was poised to to pick it up.
Who basks in its golden glow, sways to its sweet sweet tone?
Not I. Alas, someone else prevailed.
... but, who?
James.

Re: Craigslist - Opera
I wouldn't be surprised if no one got it. It seems that people use Craigslist to feel out interest in an item by posting listings with no intent to sell.

Re: Craigslist - Opera
This reminds me of the 1963 Split Window Corvette that came up on CL here not too long ago.
The listing title was "Old Corvette for Sale - $2000 OBO" and in the description the seller stated that it was found in their deceased fathers garage and they thought it might be a '73. The photo, however, showed at least a $40,000 corvette covered in dust in a a garage (they can go over $150k depending on engine and condition).
I emailed within minutes of it being posted. Needless to say, I never heard back on that one...
