Edison P-2 - Don't See These Very Often
Went to Seattle and got to look at a very nice collection of really off the wall phonographs, stuff I don't usually get to see. He had a very nice Bush and Lane Duophone and the first portable Edison I've ever seen. Cool stuff. CDB

There was one on the Yankee Trader for sale awhile ago. They do turn up. Condition is everything with these and having the correct reproducer.

Very nice!
Is the P-2 considered any rarer than the P-1?

The Bush & Lane is actually called a 'Duo Vox'.CDBPDX wrote:Went to Seattle and got to look at a very nice collection of really off the wall phonographs, stuff I don't usually get to see. He had a very nice Bush and Lane Duophone and the first portable Edison I've ever seen. Cool stuff. CDB

Thats beautiful. I had a Blue P-1 in great shape, and gold hardware, minty reproducer and nice clean quiet motor, and nice blue plush turntable. I ended up selling for around $ 450.00 and cry every night, as I will never find a same replacement again. In my opinion, it should have fetched $ 1,000.00.

Thanks. Duo Vox it is. The Duo Vox reproducer is a bit unusual. He had an extra and sold it to me. CDBJohnM wrote:The Bush & Lane is actually called a 'Duo Vox'.
