It's a Sterling Cycle heat engine. They can operate at very small differences in heat energy.
But they still need an energy input !

It's actually a "Stirling engine". Invented by Robert Stirling.

Who needs perpetual motion? When my phonos need winding, I pull my finger (pushing buttons is for chumps), Amazon sends a drone, which brings a robot that winds the Victrola, takes a picture of me, uploads it to my facebook, instagram and twitter accounts, bills it to my Google/Youtube account, lets the NSA know that I'm still good and safe, and texts me a list of suggested 78s to play, updated in real time. Done and done.

I rather doubt if their suggested list would include 'The Sheik', or 'Afghanistan', or "Allah's Holiday"…. :-P
