I'm thoroughly spoilt these days - my Expert Junior sounds fantastic with just about any record you can throw at it - mostly jaw-droppingly so!

Sad to say, this gramophone remained an unfinished project and I sold it last week on ebay. I didn't have the time to sort out the motor and I was afraid that if I took it apart I'd do more harm than good. I pointed out its faults honestly and the guy who bought it seemed very pleased with it. It's his first machine.

I made a video of it playing and added it to the ebay listing. Clearly not an age appropriate record for the machine, and the impression of the turntable slowing down not helped by the poor intonation of the vocalist.
