About 12 years ago a seller on Ebay offered 6 pre-dog Victor records in the ten inch size and one in the group had the "VICTOR TEN INCH RECORD" label. The seller included just one photo of the records as a group as I recall. Obviously, several other people besides me noticed it as well and the group went for a princely sum but not anywhere near what this one here brought. Anyway, congratulations!Tino, I would love to see a pic of your record. I am a little confused with some of the pics your posting of your achive. i have this pre dog record of s.h. dudley and i have the edison 2m version aswell!!
never knew it was this scarce
what would the 1902 edison be worth?
its a nice descriptive record but not super special its dudley doing the multiple voices of an choir like tenor soprano and bass and some othe quaint types it is very much a imitation of the len spencer type record
this is the second time one of my records turned gold the first one was billy murray with cansas city kitty a 1929 edison blue amberol i saw one sell on ebay for 1000 dollars

It is generally believed that this label only appeared on M-3001 to M-3016, recorded between 3 and 10 January, 1901. I guess that only 10.000 discs with that label were ever pressed. no but jelle and me are great buddies at the moment i act as his ebay searcher since im very busy searching for pics of rare phono's for my phono foto archive i sent him ebay links every day with things he might like and yes you probably saw the pic of the roneophone wich is yelle's most other pics are from my 2500 pic archive wich has several pics taken at yelle's place well its quite a undertaking
