Since it has been a few years since I last asked, is anyone aware of any large scale use of IRENE for restoring recordings for re-release? Thanks.

I have heard about IRENE for years now, but I haven't been able to find a collection of recently processed items, other than the Bell Labs collection. Does anyone know of such a collection to explore? So far, IRENE seems to be an unfulfilled promise. Please correct me, if I'm missing something!

Doesn't it cost a very large amount of money to do an IRENE restoration ? Funding may be minimal.
