Hello,
If you look closely at this picture you can see an Edison Drawer Model Concert machine with a metal cygnet horn. Picture is from the old Ft Myers collection.

What does it look like ? I tried to find a picture on http://www.edisonshop.com/reproducers/ducer.html

but no picture is there !

It's shown in Frow's book, but if you don't have that, just picture a Model C with the tail weight at far less an angle and stamped "D."

A c would no clear the concert. Early drawer models had automatic originally.
