Nice, very nice indeed. Beats the heck of the lump of coal that I am expecting!

I approve of your Alastair Sim avatar, Edisone. Very timely. This production of "A Christmas Carol" is still my favorite of all the productions on film. It was my Dad's favorite as well, and we used to make a point of watching it on TV every year before home video came into common useage. The film was released in 1951, so it's certainly not the earliest. The official title is "Scrooge" according to IMDb which apparently was a nod to the popular title that people remembered the story by back then. I'll probably watch my DVD of it again this Christmas Eve.

That is the last patent date that is on my Model A triumph, the SN on my triumph is in the 32000 range, and was made between 1901-1902. Yours probably is close to switch over. It is really hard to date them It seems to me, at the Edison company they seemed to use up whatever was around. I wonder if the Triton motors are not actually pretty early, does anyone know how many were made up, I would think they might have made the castings for the motor frames, and spring barrels in the late 90s and the stock lasted into the early 1900s. I dont think the Triton of 1897 was much different than a model B triumph circa 1906.
