I will attend on Saturday. I'm looking for a horn for a Columbia BE. I'm looking forward to making the acquaintance of those in attendance and would be glad to hear from anyone that might have a lead on a horn for this machine?

Bill, I would have picked you up but I have made plans to visit with a friend in Frostproof on my way back and won't be returning until Sunday night.

Were either of you able to get any good pictures to share? Send some warm weather this way as well!

Any stories about what you bought there?
My budget required that I be good this year, so only came back with a little Columbia Q and 10 nice clean Diamond Discs. I saw what I thought were a couple of bargains if the budget were in better shape and I had room to put them.
Maybe somebody should get some Forum T or sweat shirts run up so we could recognize one another at these events.

While I did not take the time to examine it closely as to condition, there was a VV-XVII that didn't look bad at first glance for under $500.

Hey Fonograph
Glad you're going to make it to Orlando--I'm jealous.
I'm down in the Raleigh area, and have been looking for a key escutcheon for an Edison C-200.
Here's a picture of it.
If you happen to run across one at a reasonable price, I'll gladly pay you for your trouble.
Thanks and have a great time!

I took some good pics, but lighting at the show this year was quite dim. Will post pictures from this years 2013 show as soon as I upload them to photobucket. Will also post last year's show (2012), and (2011) show as well soon. Saw a couple of the "heavies" there such as Tim Fabrizio, and Jean Paul Asgard?...and others.. For Orlando, It was a good show. I did notice lots of prices have dropped on stuff $200-$300 dollars from last years...reflecting the crappy economy that we are in....Ironically, The Dow hit/broke 14,000 today, but that means nothing as the market is way,way over inflated (and has been for the past few years IMHO) and should be more like 9000 in reality.. It just means that investors have learned to make money in a horrible economy..that's all...
I picked up no machines this year (a first for me), but I picked up some smalls and a really nice Vintage Cylinder cabinet (no peg type) for $380.00 The seller wanted $450.00, but I told him that $380.00 was all I had with me (and that was true..lol)...and he took it for the cabinet..Will post pics of that too soon.. Almost bought an early Columbia Q from a gentleman for $350.00, but the Cabinet won out in the end...Stupid me, I forgot to get the contact info/business card from the guy who was selling the early Columbia Q.. I would love to have that machine now.. Oh well.. Maybe I'll get lucky, and he'll respond here.. if he still has it...

Well, Jean Paul Agnard is Canadian and therefore qualifies as an alien, but Asgard is probably too far fetched
Sorry, geek humor, could not resist
