That is, indeed, a very nice Amberola V. I'd certainly be interested in it. What was the asking price?

John, I would not want to sell a machine like this when there is shipping involved. It's big,heavy and fragile. To ship from Canada would be $$$$. I may just keep it for now. The worst thing of all is to sell a machine only to get smashed during shipping.

My mahagony was acquired without feet, but with the holes for them underneath. With no woodworking tools available, I made up a pretty good substitute using wooden wheels (from Michaels Crafts) stacked and glued, then fitted with a dowel.

Though I have replacement feet now, they're not installed, since the cylinder cabinet it sits on isn't deep enough. Without the feet there's a little overlap on front and back, but it works.
Maybe back in the day people removed the feet because of this. Or maybe one would get broken, and the easiest thing to do would be to remove the rest!

The original seems to be identical with the feet on an A/B-80....

Yes, I completely understand. My experience with shipping is the only safe way is to separate the works from the cabinet and ship in separate containers. It can be done safely that way.
Anyway, congratulations on a great find.
