to me it sounds like len spencer but i never heard his brother so i can't tell
in the 1890's a lot of these political cylinders where around and this speech was avalable with several companies this however looks like a edison light brown wax cylinder
its irritating how some makes have no introduction on their cylinders
i digitize cylinders as a hobby and i have digitized 12,000 cylinders so far with a 1000 from my own collection
like i said there are quite a number of makes with no introduction i then have to relie on the catalogues for extra info i found 3 bettini cylinders this way the bettini's do have a intro but they don't say the make of the cyl like edison cyl always end with edison record
with the bettini's only the artist and the piece was named i had to borrow a bettini catalogue from a friend to find them
i knew what a bettini cylinder looks like i saw several in paris at jalal's phono galerie and i suspected these cylinders to be bettini's and i was right
i also digitize discs
i would love to have a copy of your mp3 for my archive if you are willing to sent it to me than you can do so at my gmail [email protected]
i'll be eternaly gratefull if you do
its a great find in even greater quality
greetings
tino
