Since that horn is bell shaped, it might have a bell like tone!

Was the red searchlight horn repainted? It looks to good to be true.

In my opinion the design is interesting, but the paint schemes are not very attractive and the paint is usually in poor condition. Red, blue, black, brass, and rust are the colors Ive seen most often. ;) I'd take one nonetheless.

Well I've heard from all you experts now about these and I've learnt this so far:

1. They are not rare but not so common that you expect to trip over one in the car-park at Union or Wayne

2. They are poorly painted without base coat (weren't all Victors the same?) so they turn up rusty OR repainted most of the time

3. They can be bought as cheaply as $30

4. They come in different sizes to suit various machines ie. no one can ever categorically state "That's wrong to have that horn on that machine!" etc

5. The one currently on eBay is being sold by an optimistic joker - he wants $600 to ship to the UK!!!!!!!!!

Therefore can I please ask who has a spare, rusty or not, that they are willing to sell me or indeed who is willing to pick one up for me and ship to the UK for a sensible realistic price? ;)

Obviously I will make it worth YOUR effort!
