Not necessarily bought in Chicago. To quote the Messrs. Fabrizio & Paul's excellent Antique Phonograph Advertising: an Illustrated History, page 80: "Lyon & Healy of Chicago was one of the foremost sellers and distributors of talking machines in the Midwest." You'll also find on the same page a photo of one of L&H's dealer tags applied to a Victor machine; albeit in this case not at the same place as the Victor plate.
