I played my Victor 50 around my college campus various times. People didn't know how old it was, asked what kind of batteries it used, etc. Nobody was ever really impressed by it. One young lady asked, in a rude tone, "What are you *doing*?" I replied, "Listening to music."
Now that I have a Victor III, I get a lot more response from the public. The public responds to the big horn. People are amazed by the "real old school stereo" and the "vinyl" I am playing. I have had a lot of fun with the Victor III and encourage people to learn to operate it (with my careful supervision, of course!)

My favorite one thus far; 'Woodland Echoes' performed by the Neapolitan Trio on November 28, 1913. This record was played on my VV-50 deep in the woodlands to highlight the beauty and sense of this song. -Enjoy!

Here's one for fall:
My 1922 VV-50 playing 'Song d' Automme' on a colorful autumn afternoon. The song was performed by the Bohemian Orchestra on May 4, 1909. This was the last song played on the R.M.S. TITANIC according to several eye witness accounts.
-Enjoy!

Very nice, well done. Seems like a more likely "last song" than "Nearer My God to Thee".Player-Tone wrote:Here's one for fall:

It looks like a scene out of "The Great Gatsby"
