Boy, I'd figure out some way to get it home!
I brought mine home in the back of a VW Jetta Wagon. With a good blanket and dolly this could be easily loaded by two people, tilting it in on its back and safely transported.
If I can help with any details please pm me. Wish I were closer myself! I'd certainly help!
The weight is about 195 pounds, according to my Office Depot freight scale.

You'd be foolish to pass this opportunity. This is a really rare machine, and the last one available for sale went for over $2,000. Granted, you may have to spend a lot of time tinkering with it to make it right, but again, you'd be foolish to pass it up. Call around for a few movers; I'm sure you would be able to find someone willing to do it for a couple hundred.

Where's Jerry B when you really need him??. He could have got it to Union.....

. I just couldn't resist...

. NS is a long way from the rest of the collecting world. Pete, don't cheap out and go get it. Hit a local bar and pay one or two guys to help. What do you want for a freebee??. At that "price", you can always store it in your garage.
