Now, now... I would totally forgive Jerry for ditching the decal. But I would like it if he documented it with a high-def close up photo with measurements. Good luck with it, Jerry!

That's a cute little record cabinet. To me, the decal really makes it special. It's a relic of this cabinet's history. That looks to be a really early version of Donald Duck. That would put the decal back to the mid 1930s. Another depression-era re-use (?) Though not original to it, the Mother Goose Kid's Victrola of the 20's might be a good candidate... Anyway, cool find.

Martin
Well, I have to confess. I too am a big Disney fan. I was expecting "Tinkerbell" to have jumped all over my comment. I guess "we' are many....  . If you lose the decal Jerry your membership on here will be revoked....

By the way.....I really like seeing "my" Mikiphone on this thread. However, the Japanese version "Mikky-Phone" would have been better.
I think this cabinet would go perfectly with this phonograph myself... :rose:

Tink, If that machine is in your collection, you've got to have this record cabinet. What do others think? Jerry

I :!: WISH :!: that machine were in my collection... if it were, I'd be wealthy. I seem to recall that it is valued in the thousands because of its rarity and desirability, (though my memory isn't quite what it used to be, so I may not be remembering the details correctly).

I think GramophoneShane posted the picture originally in the "What Else Are You Into" thread a few years back. :rose:
