I have a friend in So. Calif. who owned a pair just like this. It was called the Charles II or P-7 and was a copy of a cabinet dating to 1600. It is pictured in the Baumbach Columbia vol. 2 book on page 171 and it says it was offered with a companion cabinet for record storage. It came out in 1919 at a cost of $700!
