Thanks for the compliments. Yes, it looks very good and sounds nice, but now, I am looking for someone, who wants it. - I like radiograms much more...
By the way, I am searching for an HMV 660 radiogram. Can someone assist me?
Kind regards
Martin

P.S. I will post it on youtube next month.

If you are wishing to sell your Electrola. I would recommend placing an ad in our "Yankee Trader". The same can be said with regards to your "wants". However, if you are in Germany....there is also a German forum (if you don't already know). A well placed ad there may find you a more "local" buyer for your beautiful machine.

Hope that helps... ;) :).

Over here we call them "Combinations".

Terrible pity that we are on opposite sides of the "Big Pond".

I've always coveted one of those late HMV consoles, and of course combinations ("Radiograms" in the Old Country) are far more common over here.

I see that the HMV 660 uses the RCA Victor "Magic Brain" multi-band tuning mechanism which was shared by all of the top-of-the-line RCA products between 1935 and 1937 including the massive, technically advanced RCA Victor D-22 combination of 1936.

The D-22 was a 22 tube monster with a all-band receiver which covered from 135KC to 60MC, a two-speed automatic record changer, an advanced volume expander circuit, a 30 watt power amplifier employing 4 2A3 triodes in parallel push-pull.
