It is crazy to me how Christmas music haunts the soul like nothing else. Those first two guitar chords of Nat King Cole's "A Christmas Song" always dig right into me, not in an extremely good or bad way. They just dig.

I had to just chime in on this one. I had a copy of this. I think the seller is off by thousands. Should sell for no more than 10.00, and that's on the high side.

I laugh when a non-collector finds a box of records, says these must be ancient and then eyes get big and filled with $$$ $$$$ and that smile of "I struck it rich", gee why don't they sell.

I just had such an experience. Myself and some other members of the Musical Box Society international went to a very large retirement town in Florida, called "The Villages," this week to put on a mechanical music exhibition, each one bringing a couple of instruments to demonstrate. One of the things I took was my Columbia AH and some 78s to play on it for demonstration. One of the attendees came by and proceeded to excitedly to tell me about a large cache of 78s he had inherited and asked what they were worth. When I told him he you could see him deflate. He became quite upset and stomped off. He had apparently thought that his finances would be secured by selling them.
