I find it most objectionable that someone would intentionally move the data plate.

Not only that, but the cigarette lighter's missing and so is the iPod dock.

That is an interesting conversion of a victrola cabinet. The VM changer must have a four pole motor to go with the VRII pickup. The amp on the left side looks to an an Eico unit. But I can't tell for sure. It may seem like a crime for this to have happened but at least this was done some time ago. The components may be worth more than the original victrola!
Back in the 70's I passed on a VTLA hi if conversion. This had a Garrard 301 with a Fisher system. I thought it was a affront to the old gal! But it would of been a nice mono system today with an elegant cabinet.
