Reminds me that I should start checking estate sales again, even if they're usually a dead end.
If one can even ascertain that there are 78's when "records" / "old records" are listed in the sale - when you call the organizers (because many can't distinguish a 78 from a 33 or even 45 rpm record, they're just all records) arriving there it usually wasn't worth the effort at all.

Depending on when he got into the hobby, there could be some real gems lurking in there. The hardest part would be finding them! This looks like the kind of stash that one accumulates after 50 years of record collecting.
The pre-dog Monarchs are always nice to find.

I didn't, but they are re-opening the sale again this coming weekend for one day I believe, I guess there was a lot of stuff left. Hopefully I can make it back to do one last sweep.
