I have a very small collection, and I try to make each phonograph look as if it is a normal part of the room it's in. I have a Victor console in the living room, an orthophonic console in the library, an Edison Standard in the dining room, an "L" door in the parlor, and a record changing Victrola in the upstairs hall (it's a very large upstairs hall, and it actually looks good there). The only one that doesn't really have a home is the Credenza. It's in the guest room.

Does that mean it's not family yet just a guest? but that has it's privileges too

It's more like the Maiden Aunt. She's not quite a member of the family, but not a stranger, and we feel obligated to give her a home.
