There are R.B.'s with green labels and Potato Head Whiteman labels, too. It would seem the blue labels only substituted the black, and at that not in all cases.

The Potato head blues are later pressings. The earliest Royal Blues have black labels. These are tough to find. I've been unable to establish when RB production started decisively, but it was somewhere in the 2730-D range. I collect first pressings, and I have 2700-D series records before that pressed of black shellac with a black label.

Incidentally, there are two Potato Head records with Selvin on the flip side with the regular label. These are tough to find, too, because they are among the last PH releases.

This guy is a good seller- he & I have bought/ sold together for well over a decade. I already have a first run E+ black wax copy of this, so have at it. It probably won't be cheap, though!
