This undoubtedly should be filed under "epically dumb questions," but just to confirm: the photos show everything? I.e., there is no motor, turntable, or whatnot?

Unfortunately not, when I got it it had been fitted with a motor from a portable so I removed that (it did not even fit in properly although I could put that back in so it fits properly)and the horn and elbow was nowhere to be seen, luckily the back bracket, tonearm and reproducer are all quite good, and the case is repairable, then it only comes down to finding a motor, horn, elbow and turntable.

Well, thanks for confirming. I suspect that locating the appropriate motor would be a stiff challenge for someone here in the US; maybe a bit easier to come by over there in Europe? In all events, a shame the thing has fallen on such hard times, as the case is quite lovely.
