Hello Barry,

Welcome to the forum. As you are seeing there are a great bunch of fellow collectors who have a wide range of interests (history, collecting, repairing, to listening)who are eager to help out.

I have sent you a personal message (pm) with my contact details as I live just on the other side of the river from you in Cloverdale. I enjoy repairing and restoring many of the old phonographs which I have collected and if you have some time to drop in I am sure we can see what you need to get your machine into working order.

In a pinch you also can use a 45-degree ½-inch copper pipe elbow fitting, one end male, the other female. Perhaps you can get a 90-degree elbow just to see which works best for you. You can also buy tubing at the same hardware store. Actually I use these permanently, swapping them as needed. I may get one or two nickel plated sometime but they suit just perfectly as is.
